The Barbary is an intimate counter dining experience tucked away in Covent Garden’s iconic Neal’s Yard. The restaurant is centred around a horseshoe-shaped bar and open grill, adding a sense of theatre to the dining experience. At lunch, guests sit around the fire while chefs cook and serve directly from the kitchen.

The lunch menu draws on the coastal cooking of Southern Europe and North Africa, with smoke, fire and spice influencing each dish.

Our menu is seasonal and ingredient-led, showcasing bold flavours and traditional dishes from across the Barbary Coast. Bread is baked in-house each morning and served warm from the tandoor oven.

The Barbary is open for lunch every day, from midday until 3pm. Walk-ins are always welcome.
